Honor

I am learning that honor is one of the most important values of life. It is usually associated with words such as integrity, courage, faithfulness, respect, honesty, sacrifice, valor, and glory. The United States Military emphasizes honor among all its armed forces. In fact the "Medal of Honor" is the highest decoration bestowed by the government.

Awarded for "...gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of one's life..."

Honor is not an ideal created by people, it is a reflection of the character of God. God is the one most worthy of honor. That is why we worship Him. I hope to write more about this subject in the coming weeks because I believe this is an invaluable key to successful living.
